Banana Boat Captain Bob Microsite & Tip Sheet for Walgreens
One of the best parts of creative endeavors is the ability to be a kid again -- or at least channel a little bit of the child in all of us. This project did just that. Our team was tasked with developing a Banana Boat mascot for exclusive use at Walgreens. The shopper activation plan aimed to engage kids and get their moms to buy Banana Boat sunscreen at Walgreens as well as educate about sun care.
An illustrator designed Captain Bob, whose adventures took him to the playground, pool and other summer destinations via a microsite. Digital "postcards" flipped around when clicked to reveal a suggested sunscreen as well as sun protection tips. More activities could be found at the bottom of the microsite. A handout contained more activities, tips and savings.
