A picture is worth a thousand words. But the perfect words are priceless. They can persuade you in an ad, inform you about the news of the day in an article or transport you to another world in a book. Words have held that power for me from the first time my mom read me a bedtime story.
Ever since, I've loved a good story. Hearing them. Telling them. Writing them. Stories about brands. About breaking news. About new characters. And every day gives me another chance to learn how to do it better.
I've put my writing, editing and proofreading skills to work as a reporter and managing editor at a weekly newspaper in Fairfield, Connecticut, and then as a copywriter at a shopper marketing firm in Norwalk, Connecticut.
When not honing my craft, I can be found hanging out with my husband and our cats, Mulder and Scully, reading about current events and issues, indulging my obsession with the British Royal Family or getting Cape Cod sand between my toes.
